The tourism sector is a key driver for global growth and employment. The World Economic Forum’s Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) provides a platform and a strategic benchmarking tool for business and governments to develop the travel & tourism sector.
TOURISMRESULTS conducts secondary research on the 4 Sub-indices and 14 pillars of the TTCI, e.g.:
- Cross-country comparisons and benchmarking of various countries’ progress on the drivers of T&T competitiveness. These analytics of the TTCI can inform government policies and investment decisions related to T&T development.
- Specialized surveys on national tourism competitiveness to compare the performance of different countries within regional groupings and blocs, e.g. on the potentials and constraints of cross-border tourism.
